The viral caption is wrong, because this photo was taken on March 1969 – several months before Apollo 11 was launched on July 16. Also, Neil Armstrong was having a late dinner, not a breakfast.

Some people have commented about the large egg, but Armstrong was actually eating fried chicken and peaches.
