Slave ship 1880

Is this a photo of a slave ship taken in 1882 like many history accounts claim?

That is not a slave ship. The photo shows newly released slaves on board HMS London circa 1882. HMS London was a two-decker 90-gun second-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 28 September 1840. Source: Wikipedia.
