This video has been circulating for several years in social media. Every now and then also on Twitter. Does it really show a base-jumper tripping and falling off the building (and perhaps dying) in Kuala Lumpur?

Video is real. However, the person is a professional stuntman Gary Connery who has worked for films such as James Bond, Indiana Jones and Batman. Gary seems to like practical jokes and there is no reason to believe this wasn’t one. Connery landed safely using a parachute.
