This picture was viral during January 2020. It shows a southern elephant seal with some pattern in the skin that looks like a mouth. Possible pareidolia?
It’s just a photoshopped version of the original photo taken by Justin Hofman (see below). For some reason, it was the fake version that went viral and not the original one. I prefer the original photograph – and giving credit to artists.
