Kim Dotcom is a is a German-Finnish citizen living in New Zealand. Dotcom is a an Internet entrepreneur and a convicted criminal. He is also a conspiracy theorist who spreads pro-Russian propaganda.

On March 27, 2023, Dotcom tweeted the following false claim to their 1,3 million followers on Twitter:

Ukraine is now using Starlink drones to drop chemical gas grenades on Russian soldiers.

@ZelenskyyUa is abusing the generosity of @elonmusk who offered free satellite Internet connectivity for civilian use, not as a drone component for chemical weapon attacks and war crimes.

There’s no evidence Ukraine is using Starlink drones to drop chemical gas grenades on Russian soldiers. Russia has made similar false claims about Ukraine using chemical weapons without any evidence.

Dotcom also posted videos as “evidence”. These videos have been fact-checked and debunked earlier.
